Mrs. Frantiska Pavlik Kolman was born in Czechoslovakia on March 7, 1850 and died on April 11, 1930 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Vlasak five miles southeast of Crete, having reached the age of 80 years, 1 months, and 4 days.
She was married to John Kolman in Czechoslovakia and to this union seven children were born. Mr. Kolman and four children died while they lived there. In the year of 1910 Mrs. Kolman and two children came to the state of Illinois. They stayed there with her brother, Frank Pavlik, for a while and then came to Pleasant Dale and lived with her son, Adolph Kolman, who came to this country before the mother did. She made her home with him until he died a year ago. Since then she has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Louis Vlasak.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Vlasak and a son, John Kolman of Lincoln, and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the daughter's home, Rev. V. Cejnar officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
