Funeral service for Mrs. Dessie Ree Fuller, 92, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Equality UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fuller passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on April 9, 1921 in Chilton County, Alabama to George Washington Johnson and Valtie Bam Duke Johnson. Mrs. Fuller worked for Russell Corp and Avondale Mills. She was always happy and the epitome of optimism. Mrs. Fuller was a devoted wife and loved helping others, who she always put first.

She is survived by her brothers, John D. Johnson (Joann) of Equality, Sgt-Major Dewey Clyde Johnson, U.S. Army, Ret. (Irmi) of Seale, and James S. Johnson of Childersburg; several beloved nieces and nephews; and one especially dedicated and loving niece, Willene Blake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton H. Fuller; two sisters; and five brothers.
