She was born in Atlanta , Georgia to Elizabeth Ann and Roy Roach Sr.
Surviving are her two daughters, Cindy (Ronald) Whitaker of Augusta, GA and Jeannine Alden of Ringgold, GA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Patricia) Roach and Robert (Jan) Roach; sister, Mary Ellen (Warren) Dayhuff; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred "Mickey" Fleming; and brother, William David Roach.
Betty A. Cooper, 75, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
