KEOTA- Michael J. Anders, "Mike", age 65, of Keota, died July 25, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City from heart failure. Mike was born July 11, 1940 near Keota, Iowa, the son of Glenn and Madge (Marsan) Anders. He grew up in the Keota area, moved to California and then back to Iowa in the 1960's. On May 17, 1976 he married Nancy E. (Williams) Craig in What Cheer. Mike served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Seal, was a Deputy Sheriff of Mahaska County, did body work for Lyle Dumont and worked at the Door Shop in Oskaloosa. He enjoyed fishing, collecting and selling antiques
