John H. Bunch Jr. passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. Graveside service: The family will have a private service in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. John was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Yazoo City, Miss. Following the death of his parents, he was raised by relatives in Valdosta, Ga., where he graduated from high school and Valdosta State University. Following graduation, he was commissioned in the United States Air Force embarking on a 36-year career in federal service, which included Air Force active and reserve duty and civilian service. His career culminated with his retirement from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel and from civil service as the special agent in charge of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, Central Field Office, St. Louis, Mo. Survivors: His wife, Nancy of Bedford; children, Susan Therrien, John Bunch and Anne Bunch, all of the Dallas-Fort Worth area; grandson, Cameron Codner of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Natalie Taylor of Allen; brother, Robert Bunch of Grapevine; and sister, Barbara Ann and husband, Billy Selph, of Valdosta, Ga.
