Thurman D. Reynolds, 82, of Bowling Green died at 7:22 a.m. Feb. 15, 2001, at Greenview Regional Hospital.The Allen County native was a retired rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a son of the late Charlie E. Reynolds and Mable Gentry Reynolds.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastwood Baptist Church, where he was a member and deacon, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Eastwood Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Opal Reynolds; a son, Ouentin Reynolds of Crestview Hills; a sister, Rachel Cosby of Bowling Green; and two grandsons.
