Clarence A. Beecher Rites To Be Thursday
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Canaday-Boos Funeral Home for Clarence A. Beecher, who died Monday night in St. Mary's Hospital.
He became ill Sunday night at the Tuthill Spring Co. where he was employed as watchman.
The Rev. A. J. Copeland will be in charge of the service and burial will be in the Momoence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of the service.
Mr. Beecher was born February 12, 1882, at Chenos. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emmett Miller, Momence; sons, Clarence A. Beecher Jr., Deerfield, and Gilbert I, Pekins; seven grandchildren; sisters, Miss Mathilda Beecher and Mrs. Frank Garrett, Momence; and brothers Oscar and Alvin of Michigan.
His wife, Neva, died in 1948 and he was preceded in death by two brothers.
