BARBARA E. DROKE, age 73, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Portage. Barbara had been a lifelong Portage/Lake Station area resident and was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo player and loved her Pekingese dogs. Barbara is survived by 3 children: Bill (Tammy) Coleman of Portage, Chuck (Donna) Coleman of Midway, TN and Cynthia (David) Bruns of Lake Station, 5 grandchildren: Amber Milenkoff, Robert (Rachel) Coleman, Crystal Bruns, Beth Ann Coleman and Candice Bruns, great granddaughter, Noel Coleman and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sharon Coleman, husband, Robert Dewayne Droke and brothers, Charles "Bud" Butcher and Billy Ray Butcher. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 10 am until 12:00 noon at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mike Bean officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
