Burton Jerome Weber, 78, of Somerset, New Jersey died March 21, 2012. Born March 13, 1934 in Chicago, IL, he resided in Highland Park, North Brunswick and Basking Ridge, NJ before moving to Somerset, NJ. Dr. Weber worked as a school psychologist for Woodbridge Township for many years before retirement. In retirement, he volunteered weekly at Morristown Memorial Hospital, was on the Franklin Township Board of Health, and was a copy editor for the Somerset Run newspaper. He enjoyed traveling and attending concerts and theater, as well as playing with his grandchildren. He was an avid learner, completing a doctorate in psychology after retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Rona Lee Weber; sister Joyce Weber of Glenview, IL; daughter Karen Weber of North Brunswick, daughter and son-in-law Jodi and Charles Gendrich of Middletown, CT; step-daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Terry Chemtov of Hollywood, FL; step-daughter Rachel Borkon of Pompano Beach, FL; and grandchildren Elise, Kathryn, Noah and Arielle.

Services will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Gutterman and Musicant, 402 Park Street Hackensack, NJ. The service will begin at 1p.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Memorial contributions may be sent to Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
