William P. Barger, well-known retired building contractor, died at his residence, 5 West "G" Street, Brunswick, Monday afternoon at 1:40 o'clock, aged 76 years. He had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 60 years, was a member of Grace Episcopal church, there and of F O E Aerie 1136.

A son of the late William P. and Harriet Danner Barger, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Goldie Kern Barger; these children, Mrs. Millie V. Slattely, Baltimore, Mrs. Helen L. Hanale, Dundalk, Mrs. Loretta M. Grove, Brunswick, Oakland W. Barger, Knoxville, Mrs. Beatrice Cleckner, in Germany and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Grace Episcopal Church, Brunswick.
