Beecher Donald Workman was born in Crook, Boone Co., WV to Frank & Maude Workman. He served as a sergeant in the US Army during WW II, from September 30th, 1939, to December 23, 1943.

He was wed to Josephine "Jean" Frucci on February 27, 1941, by Father Joseph Wieber in the rectory of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Niles, MI. They became the parents of sons, Lawrence "Larry" Workman & Anthony "Tony" Workman.

Don was employed by National Standard. They resided at 2157 So. 3rd St. later moving to 11th St. in the German/Italian community of Dickereel. They were very proud of their vegetable and flower gardens. Don passed away on September 28, 2000, "Jean" on November 19, 2012, at West Wood Nursing Home in Niles. They are both interred in Calvary Cemetery in Niles. Submitted by Cousin of Jean - Anita Frucci Rodgers.
