Dolores A. Dieringer, 79, Defiance, died at 3:32 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, in her home. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Toledo, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Stephens) Adams. In 1952, she married Donald Dieringer, who survives. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Defiance High School and International Business College. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its noodle club, a lay distributor for the homebound and a former member of the choir. She was a member of VFW Post 3360 Auxiliary, several card clubs and Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance Auxiliary where she was a hospice volunteer. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Susan) Miller of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Mark (Sandra) Lemon, Defiance; three sons, David of New Haven, Ind., Bruce (Roberta) of Avon Lake and Jerry, Lutherville, Md.; and five grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a son, Robert; and a grandson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
