Anne passed away in December 1951 at the Mayo Clinic following experimental heart surgery.
In 1952 Harvey moved from Corsica to Lynden, Washington and married Florence Stremler Ammeraal in 1953.
Harvey was a farmer in Corsica and a machinery and car salesman in Lynden. He was an elder at the Faith Reformed Church in Lynden. He enjoyed woodworking and bowling.
Harvey passed away at St. Luke's General Hospital in Bellingham after a long struggle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Florence, his son Boyd, three grandchildren, his stepdaughter Carol and three step-grandchildren.
