My father was the lead guitarist for the band the "Serenaders." They played just about every place there was to play on Long Island and the Tri-State area in the 1950's thru the 1980's. From VFW & American Legion halls, Firehouses, bars & catering halls

to playing for Arthur Godfrey and once sharing the stage with the Jackson 5.

He was the husband of Maria (Piccininni) Jamison who passed August 25, 2011.

Born in Kinsley, KS March 14, 1931, he was a son to the late John Henry and Lettie Mae (Smith) Jamison. Pop was a proud veteran of the US Air Force Serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a Gold Life member of American Legion post 246, Baldwin. He retired from Nassau County, as a heavy equipment operator.
