"OBITUARY"


MISHAWAKA-Daniel W. Landaw, 84, of North Oakland Street, Mishawaka, passed away at11:45 Sunday at Michiana Health and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka. He was born December 21, 1928, to Daniel and Vivian(Yoder) Landaw, who preceded him in death. He married the former Dolores A. Cart in St. Joseph, Indiana in 1945, who preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by seven children, Larry D. (betty) Landaw and Debra S. (Jerry) Boocher, both of Elkhart, Michael E. (Barbara) Landaw, Donald G. (Donna) Landaw and Linda K. (Mike) Kazmirski, all of Mishawaka, John L. Landaw of Rocklin, California and Rev. Gary A. Landaw of Puerto Rico. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. He was plant manager at C.C. Kelly and Sons where he worked for fifty years. Dan really enjoyed fishing in Canada and was well known as "Dan the Walleye Man. He attended Madison Township High School. Funeral services for Dan will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 pm today at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Pentecostal Ministries, c/o Gary and Joseph Landaw, 4127 Anchor Drive, Mishawaka, Indiana 46544.


Daniel was married in 1945 to Dolores A Cart in St Joseph, Indiana. She was born Oct. 31, 1928 in Mishawaka, St Joseph, Indiana. In 1940 Dolores lived in Mishawaka, St Joseph, IN., with her grandfather Ernest Cart and parents, Glenn E. and Flora Cart.
