Born to John Henry and Augusta (née Oelze) Tabeling, on the 25th day of Sept, in 1870, in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky. Albert is a paternal great grandfather to Virginia L. Webb née Haf. He married Lillie Mae Pate, on the 20th day of January in 1902. Albert passed away in 1919 from the flu during the 1918-1919 flu epidemic.

He has been laid to rest next to his wife and several of his children in the Cloverport Cemetery in Cloverport, Kentucky. Currently, there is no marker for the family plot.

Husband Soon Follows Wife To The Grave. Six Orphans Bereft. Six young girls, all under 16 years of age, are bereft of a father and mother, and left orphans as a result of the influenza epidemic which caused the death of Mr. Fritz Tabeling Monday evening, and just five days later than the death of his wife. Mr. Tabeling was ill when Mrs. Tabeling died, and little hope was held out for him then. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, followed by the interment in the Cloverport cemetery. Mr. Tabeling was forty-nine years old. Besides his six daughters, he leaves three brothers, Frank Tabeling of Cloverport, Thos and Chas Tabeling of McQuady.
