"For men may come and men may go, But God goes on forever."
My husband and I have been researching our family history and genealogy for a good long while – since 1995 for me, since 1976 for my husband. The surnames I am researching are Ellis, Landrith(eth), McPherson, and Nash. My husband is researching Nutt, Hunt, Halsal, Davy, and Rowley. There is almost nothing we'd rather do than walk cemeteries on nice weather days. We appreciate Find A Grave making it possible for us to document our family graves for posterity.
If you believe any changes are required to any of the memorials that we have added, please E-mail us using the ‘Suggest a correction' link found under the ‘Edit' tab on the upper right side of the memorial. This way it links directly to the memorial in question.
TRANSFERS: We are usually quite agreeable with transferring any of our "non-relative" memorials over to you upon your request. Ask and ye shall receive. However, if you request transfer of one of our relative's memorials, explain your relationship in the request and why you believe it would be better for you to manage the memorial and we will give serious consideration to your request. Please note that it is not appropriate to request a transfer and then, after receiving the transfer, delete that page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created. This practice denies credit to the original contributor (us). Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information. DUPLICATE MEMORIALS: It is not our desire to create multiple memorials for the same individual. If you find a duplicate memorial that we made, please know that it was an unintended mistake on our part and accept this extended apology in advance. Please notify us of our error by using the ‘Edit" tab on the upper right side of the memorial, and then click on the ‘Suggest a correction' link to send us an E-mail. Be sure to include in your E-mail the memorial ID # of our duplicate memorial. Kindly allow us thirty days from your original request for us to resolve the mistake.

LANDRETH/LANDRITH RESEARCHERS: I have a copy of Eugene Landreth's book, "Forebears and Descendants of Landreth Pioneers: 22nd Edition. Will send it to someone for cost of shipping. Contact us. | |

 | George Luke Landrith His burial #23005259 in this cemetery was taken from the cemetery survey listed here:
http://www.interment.net/data/us/mo/newton/ioof/ioof_l.htm
It would have made sense that he was buried where his parents and brother was, but it may have been they didn't want to transport his body, etc. The spelling of the last name is slightly off, but that is not alarming.
I see a another remark for a burial in IOOF; that of his sister Bertha which is confusing too: Landreth, Bertha E., d.1/10/1895, Age 18 yrs, Tuberculosis, Synovetis, disinterred at Galena, Kansas, re-interred on Landreth Lot
(yet Bertha is listed as being buried at Mt. Hope too)
Two different counties, that's interesting and confusing.Added by Coleah on May 14, 2013 4:45 PM | | | laford1

 | Helen Umburger Grave Photo Request During a recent trip to St. John's, I looked for your requested grave marker. I was unable to fulfill your request, but did take a number of pictures of other Umburger grave markers. You can see them on my Flicker account - use the link below. Sorry I couldn't find your specific grave marker, but I hope these photos include some of your extended family members.
