First of all I want to say that I am not a part of what I call GCS "Grave chasing sharks" who like to add a memorial for a person as soon as they hear the news so they can pad their memorial numbers. I feel this is very inconsiderate and family should be given the time first, (30 days at least). I like helping people find lost graves.I am getting somewhat familiar with my local library genealogy room.If you are looking for an obituary from Taylor County Kentucky send me the info and I will try to find it for you.Keep in mind there are some years that have not been gone through.I am also a member of the Taylor County Historical Society. If I have added a memorial of one of your family members there is no harm intended, just ask and I will transfer. All I ask is please do not delete it.I will explain how some of the memorials I have created came to be.1-Searching through cemeteries looking to fulfill a photo request I find a stone with a surname that I am searching/researching for and do not know if they may be connected.2-I am asked to photo a memorial for only one name and there are two names listed, I will list the other one.3-I have known this person or a family member in my lifetime.4-When I go to local Library and find an obituary a page gets copied with several on it and I decide to ad the memorial with obituary because it is on my copy.5-I have been asked by friends to photo all memorials with a certain surname.6-Sometimes I add the memorial and picture simply because the stone is very aged, broken, on ground and possibly beginning to be unreadable.I want to preserve history while it's still possible. My current personal areas of research are: Graybeal, Porter, Lucas, Metcalf, Osborn, Osborne, Richerson, and Colvin. | |

 | Pheobe Bryant Headstone Thank you very much for getting the great photo of Pheobe's headstone. I found out that James doesn't have a headstone, he is buried in an unmarked grave next to Pheobe. Thanks again. | | | Brian Greer

 | Joseph Peppers Unfortunately Western State Hospital is like Eastern & Central State Hospital, few if any markers remain. If you want I could look up the death certificate and call the hospital if you want. From what I can tell there was no record of death for a Josephine in Christian County.Added by Squad546 on Apr 30, 2011 12:13 AM | | | Bev
