| Bio and Links | My husband, Mike and I have been doing research for over 30 years. Lots of walking cemeteries for photos, lots of courthouse research & library research. The computor age has now made it a little easier but still lots of research done through traveling and the same way we did it before.
Being a photo volunteer for and helping others with their memorial's is a true blessing to us. ************************************** Per Find-A-Grave guidelines: Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. I ask that you please comply to the Find-a-grave guidelines & do not use any of the photos, | |

 | photos of tombstones I greatly admire the work of the people at Find-a-Grave.com BUT I guess I have my work cut out for me going back and deleting photos I have added to my tree on Ancestry.com of tombstones off the find-a-grave site. For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would want to copyright a photo of a tombstone - what is the point? I have given away so much information over the years gladly in order to help people with their family research. Why anyone would copyright tombstone photos is beyond my understanding I guess as in most cases these are hundreds of miles maybe thousands of miles away from the people who want that record preserved within their actual family tree by more than just a link that may someday be unavailable. I have been using photos of tombstones when I don't have a photograph of the person. I will remove you photo.Added by Virginia on May 16, 2013 8:33 PM | | | Linda Wong
 | Raymond Dye Hi Vera, Just saw your Findagrave connection with my Grandfather Ray Dye. Just wondering about your connection with him, are you related to Vera Waddell? I knew Grandpa & Grandma Dye were divorced, but never knew about a 2nd marriage for him! Can you fill me in a bit? Thanks so much, Linda (Bartenstein) Wong Bakersfield, CA | | | wendi

 | Myrtle K Maxwell Pippin 63487849 Your photo of gravestone is correct but Myrtle, her husband, two sons and her parents are buried in another Maxwell Cemetery, sometimes called Myrtle Pippin Cemetery, located just across the Putnam County TN line in Jackson County. From I-40 take Hwy 56 North towards Gainesboro. Turn left on Shephardsville Rd. and go approx. 4 to 5 miles, the cemetery is located on left. Maxwell Cemeteries South and North are located off Hwy 56 too, but further South, close to I-40. | | | Darrin Dutton

 | RE: Aytes request Vera - My first search of Union Cemetery got me to an AYTES family plot that contained five markers; Junius 1893-1918, Little Thelma 1915-1916, Fredrick 1918-1948 and two markers that I could not identify. Are any of these three related to Hiram or Josephine? If so, I can send you photos of the two unidentifiable markers. If not, I have to keep searching. Let me know. You can contact me directly at: dogden4@cfl.rr.com

 | RE: Aytes request Vera - I posted a photo of the cemetery gates to get started. That will keep the site active for me while I search for the gravesites. The cemetery is quite large and ther are no charts available. A friend from another cemetery did a suvey of Union cemetery a while back and I hope she can help me find the Aytes gravesites when she has more time. Thanks for your patience. | RE: Chaffin photos You are welcome. I appreciate you taking time to send your thanks. Pinecrest is a large cemetery and I have over 50 requests at all times. I try to do a few every week or two. I like to do the couple ones to knock out the numbers more quickly.
Happy hunting on your family tree and always pass the favors on. | | | | [View all messages...] |
