Genealogy is my passion,as well is Kosher food. My family lines include ; Modine,Bunch,Kincaid,McKnight,Hill,Hillman, Coleman,Jarrett,Gilbert,Neifert, and several more. I enjoy taking pictures and enjoy reading gravestones. I developed a love for this in elementary school while on a field trip. Our teacher wanted us to learn not to be afraid of old graveyards and to be respectful of the sacredness of the burial sites. So she encouraged us to read the names and dates of the people in a small family graveyard. Located on the premises of our field trip.
Generally speaking I am usually willing to allow others to use pictures I take for thier own personal records. Providing it is a relative or very close personal friend. Never for financial profit. Not to be reprinted in any publication without my written permision. I do not want to have pictures I take for someone added to memorials by them because even if I am given credit in the caption for the picture, most people will never see that credit. Unless they click on the picture. I will be glad to add a picture to any additional memorials for you. Please feel free to contact about use of pictures. | |

 | Mrs. M. J. Chapman Laura Do you know anything about Mrs. M. J. Chapman who is buried at Mt. Nebo. I got this e-mail today.
I'm hoping this is my great grandmother Julie (July) Bailey Chapman. My family Barnes/Tripp is from Maury and Lewis counties. My grandmother was Melie Chapman Barnes and Julie was her mother. Hoping you could provide more information.

 | RE: Memorials for others Hi there Laura, Thank you for the kind words. No, I didn't know Victor or William Williams. When I was working on my family tree, I added "Williams" whenever I found one to find a grave. My grandmother was Genvera "Williams" Laundy. My great grandparents were Frederick and Anna Williams. After Frederick died Anna married Oliver Williams. Are you related to Victor or Williams ? Again thank you for your kind words. Kindest Regards, Bernice | | | Sue Alberti

 | Fly Headstones & Cemetery Condition That is so sad that animals run through cemeteries, but it is even sadder when people do it. They know better. I thank you for your time in doing all of this and for being Find A Grave volunteer. Thanks for the two new photos you added for Wm & Mary J.

 | Find A Grave Memorial# 53746242 Hi Laura, You just added a photo to this memorial, but I'm afraid it's the wrong photo--the names and dates don't match at all.
Could you please remove it? Thank you. | | | Rick L. Gray
 | RE: Relations Not sure if you meant to leave a message on my page or not. All I got was the heading.
Just checking. | | | | [View all messages...] |
