I try to catch up once a week on change suggestions and I'm never more than 2 weeks behind (FAG rules provide for 30 days). I get a lot of requests daily. If you haven't heard from me within a few weeks, I may have missed it and I won't be offended to get a reminder. And thank you to Cathea for helping me keep up with them. Also, much thanks to Larry, Carol, Debbie, Chris, Rich, Mary, Linda, Mike and so many others who take so much of their time to help.
Please use the Suggest a Change feature on the memorials to request changes/transfers - If the request is left on my message board, I may miss it.
I comply with most transfer requests - please take care of them and add whatever information you can.
I do not delete my memorials in favor of newer created memorials so please don't ask. The deleting of memorials causes issues for those who have linked to them. I link to Find-a-Grave memorials and some have since been deleted.
Email (and Suggest a Change) Etiquette
A few additions of the words "please" and "thank you" go a long way. Helps to make your e-mail not seem demanding or terse.
Type unto others as you would have them type unto you.
The reason I have contributed so many memorials is for the benefit of others to find their family members as well as to memorialize those who have gone before us. They are all important.
A note on copyright. My photos are not copyrighted - feel free to use. They have been posted for your use.
Find-a-Grave has a policy of a maximum of 20 change suggestions per week from the same person. With the number of memorials that I maintain, it would take up to 700 years for me to recieve a change suggestion for each of them at 20 per week. Please send me as many as you want. Depending on how many I get, it could take a bit to keep up with them. It is more important to memorialize those who have passed than to worry about how many change suggestions I'm getting- .
Marian Melbin Please add the following info to the grave location for Marian Melbin (8770951) in Cypess Lawn Memorial Park--sec PALM, lot SALVATION ARMY #1, Grave #293
Cypress Lawn Memorial Park Thank you for all of the work you have done at this cemetery. My family was there yesterday to take pictures of some of our family member's graves and have found that you have done quite a lot of work there. I took some pictures of some of the surrounding graves and came up with a little info that you may not have had so left you quite the bombardment of suggested corrections. I am sorry to do that, I just check as I add photos for more info than is on the graves. Please don't feel like I'm being impatient because of all of the requests. You've done quite a lot of work here.
Eugenia Vansant Dillon Thank you for transferring her to me. I had been a little confused because I had thought I had already entered her. And it turns out I had. Your entry was a duplicate of Memorial #24517285. I have asked them to delete the duplicate.
Rev Peter M Boyden Thanks for your VERY prompt update. I am still searching for his 5th daughter, Rosa R Boyden CLARY. I'm assuming she and her husband, Sidney Clary, are buried in Hollywood Cemetery now that you found her father. Her son, Beverley Boyden Clary, is resting in Hollywood, too.
