38697420 Sarah Jane Ficklin Parker.
Parker, Sarah Jane - was born in Ascension Parish, October 30, 1873. She was married to T.C. Parker of Ascension Parish in 1894. Mrs Parker was a christian and a member of the Baptist Church. She was the mother of 10 children, three of which preceded her in death, Sam, Simon and an infant baby. She leaves those to morn her passing, her husband T.C. Parker, seven children, Thomas and Washington of Baton Rouge, Una Gore, Hester Parker, Alice Jones of New Orleans, Mack Parker and Daisy Persac of Ascension Parish, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. As well as a host of friends. She died Sunday, November 17, 1946 at the age of 73 years and 17 days. The Adams Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. The Rev. J.T. Squyres Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiated. The Pallbearers were, Earl Nickens, Percy Parker, William Gore, L.B. Nickens, Albert Gore and Joe Parker.

I saw the obit, but the problem i ahve is her headstone raeds Bache and the cemetery has her listed as such. if someone was doing a search for her they will not find her under CorneAdded by Bobby on Aug 11, 2010 5:57 PM | | | Bobby
