The grave marker I have for Thomas Moffatt is in Addition #4. He is in the F.O.E. Section surrounded by tall evergreens on three sides. A very large Bird (Maybe a Golden Eagle) has a nest above. On one of days I was there the nesting bird forced a Mature White Eagle to the ground about 60 yards from where I was taking pictures.

Elaine, the GAR cemetery had record of a Thomas Moffatt buried at this location. Have you verified with them that he was removed?
Perhaps by changing cemeteries you have erased another Thomas Moffat. | | | Rene Saenz-Tanner

Yes, I'm relatively new to Find a Grave and am enjoying it immensely. I'm not directly connected to the Moffatt family, but Charles Moffatt's wife Emily Nelson was a sister of my great grandmother Amy Nelson. Thanks for your good wishes.
