My name is Shelba Yoes, I was born and raised in the Northwest Arkansas area, having lived in Greenland for most of my life. My husband, Bill, and I have raised our family of four children in Greenland and now have 4 grandchildren.
Geneaology has always been an interest of mine and now, being semi-retired after 35+ years of operating a daycare, I'm working on filling in the blanks in the family tree, with sometime surprising results.
The family lines I'm currently at work on include the Yoes, Parrish, Southern, Loftin and Moore lines.
I have been transcribing cemeteries for about the last year. And photographing stones, whenever available to place with the information. If you have requests for headstones in my immediate area, I'll be happy to help find these and get the information to you.
For the information I enter onto Find-A-Grave I use back up documentation from a headstone, death notice, census or other document; however, there is always the opportunity for error and if you find an error in a posting of mine, please let me know and I will be happy to correct it.
