Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on genealogy for about 15 years now and still considered young by most. Up till 2011 I would go searching in overgrown cemeteries and take as many pictures as I could. I would get ticks and chiggers. At the end of August. During my graveyard hopping in Germany I ended up with Lyme disease. Be safe all of my other Graveyard hoppers out there!
I am also on Ancestry and I am a huge believer in sharing and willing to share as long as you are also willing to share with others.

RE: Wow!
We are both retired, enjoying what we like to do. No problems with ticks. Have never found any in cemeteries, found a few in State Parks. Working now on Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick, Georgia. About 50% complete.

All I can tell you about Ancestry is that they give you possible matches sometimes without trying to get too wrapped up in the details. My suspicion is that it is a false match and I wouldn't waste any time trying to make a fit, these look like completely different people.

Ken Kious
RE: Kious Cemetery
Sorry, I do not have a list of people buried at the Kious Cemetery. I visited the cemetery a few years ago and took pictures of the following headstones:

Sarah J Kious (my grandmother)
Jacob L Kious (my great grandfather)
Mary A Kious (my great grandmother)
John Maple
Wilma Maple
George Maple
Margaret Maple

I took the Maple headstone pictures because I believe there was a connection between our families.

I also took pictures of the adjacent church building.
