That gives me ALL the information I need to make the transfer. ------------------------------------------------- Living in Northern Chester County, Pennsylvania, "I See Dead People." (The Sixth Sense)
I haunt cemeteries for tombstone photos and follow up with obituaries if available at the Chester County Historical Society. Or Vice-Versa, I get the obit then find tombstone.
I also add the Daily Local News obituary, if, and only if, it mentions the cemetery.
I can't keep up with all the contributions on FAG, but it is possible I already have a tombstone photo- Just Ask. Click on "Request a photo" on your person of interest.
I make entries from two sources: Tombstone photos or Daily Local News Obits. For an entry I've made without an obit, I most likely already have the photo.
RE: Barbara Connell Hello, I don't have the exact date, but can ask her daughter. I wasn't able to find her SS record either. I did add her maiden name, and hope to add some photos and a bio. When I get her dates...I might take you up on your generous offer. Thank you! Debbie
Elizabeth Dunigan Hi Dan, Thank you for letting me know that you add the son and to correct the obit. I am not family either. I am just trying to find and add as much information about the obits I add as possible. Jess
RE: St. Mary's Would that ever be helpful! I wonder if the Warwick Historical Commission--I thin that's the name on the zoning notice--has access. It would be a shame to lose the plot map.
I am coming up against--and I'm sure you know this--barely legible stones and slabs. With a little help from the Internet, I identified the Dewees slab today, but I'm still stuck on the Strickland children (?) someone who may be named Maxwell. And that was only a small corner of the cemetery!
Well, I love a challenge ... Thanks for all your prep work. It must have been cold ut there in the snow!!
St. Mary's Thanks, Dan. Yes, there are a lot of downed headstones since 2009. I've added photos when I had them. // Did you know that there's a zoning hearing scheduled shortly regarding the status of the church? I doubt they will let it be demolisted, but ... // I did mention to Gina that she might have a look at her memorials at St. Mary's; she's good about fixing them. Sandi

Mary Roberts & Lena Mullin Thanks Dan for the quick response in taking my requested photos. I have visited that cemetery myself and apparently missed getting these two photos.
If I can return the favor, please do not hesitate to ask. I am in Maryland, near the Baltimore-Washington airport (BWI).
Sarah Louise Johnson Thank you so much for sending me Sarah Louise's Notice from the paper. She is my Aunt. Such a lovely person!! I appreciate your thoughtfulness!
RE: speakman You paid closer attention than I did! - yes, Winter Park is what it should say then...
Thank you for making the adjustment so quickly! You are a rare breed!!
I'm just going through these old undertaker records, and enjoying being surprised at how many "out-of-towners" I'm finding on Findagrave! I'm mainly only concerned with "my" cemetery I work on mostly - but I can't help but look up other people - just to see if I can add this rare little tidbit of info!
