I am hooked on genealogy and finding my ancestors final resting places. We have tromped through many very old cemeteries across the country in our search.
We have been lucky enough to have had some amazing things happen during our research travels. We have had completely unexpected help from some wonderful people, some we happpily found were related and of course we have had lots of devine intervention and guidance when least expected.
Find A Grave allows me to permanently record my findings so that I can share with others who might also be searching for the same families. Please feel free to contact me if you find we are related.
Find A Grave gives me a way to "Pay it Forward" by helping others find their families resting place. My hope is that maybe some of you that I help will in turn "Pay it forward" by helping others.

Family names I am researching: NEWTON, GIERHART, PAXTON, STEELE, ELLIS.
Linn Grove Cemetery I have managed to get way behind on my Find A Grave requests and am trying to get caught up. Thanks for the photos of Rosemary Thomas' markers.
John Blunt I believe John Blunt, Find A Grave # 26013370, may be the 3rd husband to my Grandmother - Edith Elizabth Hudiburg/Winn/Thompson/Blunt. Her Find A Grave page is: 100864024. I have not found a marriage date; however, I remember him clearly. I have a photo to send to you to confirm, if you knew him. I was surprised to see an actual stone for him, my father & uncles chose not to buy one for their mother. Johnny was not blood, and as far as I know, no one stayed in touch with him from our family. He lived another 4 years after "Lizzie" died, perhaps he had family in the area? Kayla (Winn) Snyder
Charita A House I don't know of a Van Sickle at this time. I am still doing research on that part of the family. If I do find something, I'll let you know.
Charita A House Many thanks for the photo of Charita's marker. She was the wife of my great grand uncle Edward P. House and uncle of my great grandmother, Mary E. Kram.
Peter & Grace Kreps Thank you for the beautiful gravestone photo! These are the great-grandparents of one of my dearest friends. She will be so happy to see it on their pages! May we have permission to use it for her personal album and on the Ancestry family trees, with proper credit to you?
Frances Purcell Thank you so much for taking the time to answer this request! I appreciate it very much. Also, I loved your noticing the little stone, and pointing it out. It's really quite touching. Enjoy the moisture! Tenley
