 | RE: On your Bea Arthur memorial No apology owed to me. Sometimes it takes work to get things straight. I always honor vets whether the person served a single hitch or whether the military was the whole point of the person's life.
Thanks,

 | RE: General Sink Memorial I've passed your message on to Russ and he says that your apology is accepted. As he had promised, he re-posted it on the memorial under his own name.
Thank you. | | | happi

 | RE: Sponsorship of Joe Toye memorial You are very Welcome!! After years of watching the series Band of Brothers I was thrilled to find Mr. Toye, but to find that I could sponsor him too is an honor!! Thank you.Added by LaDene on Feb 07, 2010 7:32 AM | | | Bob Hufford
 | RE: On your Bea Arthur memorial Actually, 4 or 5 people reached me in the first 24 hours after I posted her. Sure enough, there are a couple of sites that "confirm" her service. However, the stories are apparently not true. She denied them herself...no one would deny honorable service, certainly not a Jew in WWII. IF there are pictures, as some say, they were from a theatrical part. And, had she served in a medical field, it would have been in the Navy. I researched, as did the folks at Find a Grave, and the stories just aren't true. I assure you, I ALWAYS honor vets...Thanks for writing. | | | George Baumgardner
