| RE: ads Thanks for the input, but sadly I have pop up protection and Find A Grave is the only web site that I have this problem. So will continue to work through the irritation as i do enjoy the site and the work. I also noted that on the postings I am not the only member voicing concerns. Thanks againAdded by Mick on May 19, 2013 6:59 AM | |

| Charles Whadford I read your profile page like you requested me to do re: members who create memorials without burial records. From what you write I don't believe I'm one of those people you described. At least I'm not one of those people that would do such a thing! On a few occasions I have had other members contact me and to let me know they created the same memorial but found the burial record or headstone. In any event I i always delete the one I created, although some members have kindly transfered the memorial over to me for management. Most of the memorials I have created --without a burial place , are family members or close friends of the family and I am constantly "actively" searching for those burial or cremation records. If you search my memorials more closely you will see I have created several memorials for those that were cremated and did not have THIER ashes placed in a cemetery. As for my transfer request I realise you have the right to deny it for any reason you see fit and am fine with that. I do have to admit though that what you said did make me a bit uncomfortable and a tad bit offensive. I'd would have rather discussed it with you privately via email. Thank you for your timeAdded by Denise Gill on May 18, 2013 1:54 AM | |

| RE: Boyntons in Prospect Hill Thanks, I put the memorial and photo back on. How was it (how did they do that?) about the folks who create memorials when it is unknown where the person is buried. Did they just pick a cemetery at random or what?Added by yvonne on May 17, 2013 2:41 PM | |

Dale Melada
| E.Leavesley Hi! My name is Dale Leavesley. I found an E. Leavesley Find a Grave Gilroy, California. I researched the name while I liven in Berkeley, California. At that time I did not find a connection and my research skills were put aside because, of family and work responsibilities and I moved to New Mexico.. As far as I know, Mr. Edward Leavesley was a well respected teacher, farmer, and judge in the Gilroy Community. He and his wife Faith Leavesley came to Santa Clara during the 1849 Gold Rush. They did not have any children that I know of. Faith lived until her nineties Edward died sooner.
I would like to share information with others. Please contact me. dlmelada@yahoo.com
My father was Roy E. Leavesley born in 1904, Philadelphia, PA His father was Joseph Leavesley born in 1865 in Warwickshire, England. Joseph immigrated about 1880 with an Alfred and James Leavesley. Joseph and his wife Annie had nine children all born in Philadelphia. Thanks Dale LeavesleyAdded by Dale Melada on May 17, 2013 10:13 AM

| duplicate Hi Rob, I have a problem. I made a memorial for Charles E. Boynton and one for 110567373. I added a bio for Anna M. #110567373 THEN tonight as I clicked on view all internments I saw you already had made a memorial for both of these folks last summer. I deleted my one for Charles Boynton. But then when I went to Prospect cemetery and enterd the name Boynton Charles boynton does not show up at all. How can I fix this? I think if you go to both sites you will see what I mean. Sure did not mean to duplicate your 2 memorials. Thanks.Added by yvonne on May 16, 2013 9:16 PM | |

Margaret J McClaskey
| Please correct misspelled first name - for Margarete DeCraene Hello, thank you for your work. I'd like to know if you'd look at the memorial information for my Great Grandmother Margarete DeCrane (#102688170). The site has it misspelled - it shows an extra "t" in her first name - but it should be spelled "MARGARETE," NOT Margarette.
Her name has constantly been misspelled through the years, as well as her daughter's, Marguerite DeCraene. So I took pictures of both tombstones to show the true spellings. Could you delete the "t" in MargaretTe please? This is a small thing, but we would like it to be correct. You can see by looking at the tombstone picture that this correction needs to be done.
Thank you! Margaret McClaskeyAdded by Margaret J McClaskey on May 15, 2013 1:33 PM
