An early developer and father of the city of Glendale, California. His former mansion El Miradero since become a public library as stated in his will along with the property becoming a park. In 2014, El Miradero has went under a 9.3 million dollar renovation by the Glendale Historical Society. There is also Cenotaph near Mono Lake where he had his second home. Link can be found here.
