Mary Ann Leslie Porter

August 8, 1834 – March 6, 1923


MT. PLEASANT, UT - Largely attended funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the South ward chapel for Mrs. Mary Ann Leslie Porter, one of the pioneer women of this city.
Bishop A E McIntosh was in charge of the services and a combined choir from both wards furnished the musical numbers. The speakers were Andrew Larsen, Arthur O Nelsen, President J W Andersen and Bishop McIntosh.


The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. The pallbearers were six grandsons, George and Hugh Nelson, Harry Reynolds of Springville, Willis Winters, Charles Jacobsen and William Coates. Bishop McIntosh dedicated the grave.


Out-of-town relatives in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Porter and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reynolds, all of Springville, and James Porter of Salt Lake.
