Hassel Louise Braschler, 94, lifetime resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, November 23, 2007, at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley in St. Louis.
Mrs. Braschler, daughter of the late Freda Murrell, was born July 23, 1913, in Doniphan. She was a member of the Doniphan First Church of God. Mrs. Braschler loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed quilting.
She was married to Chester (Check) Willard Braschler on August 6, 1933. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1993.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn (and Jim) Snell and Marilyn (and Eddie) Tanner, both of House Springs, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brian (and Cheryl) Snell of Chesapeake, Virginia, Sandy (and Kortland) Bruce of High Ridge, Missouri, Kerri (and Chris) Shelton of House Springs, Kristi (and Jason) Lee and Bradley (and Christine) Snell of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Craig Tanner (Sarah Blanchard) of St. Louis; and twelve great-grandchildren, Lauren Snell, Collin Snell, Kortland Bruce, Clayton Bruce, Hunter Lee, Colton Lee, Lacey Snell, Braden Snell, Raegan Shelton, Jake Shelton, Jessica Shelton and Allysa Blanchard.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan beginning at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Brother Larry Bashaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Doniphan First Church of God in Doniphan, Missouri.
