Elizabeth Danner was born 13 Nov 1736 (IGI-9,012) near the town of Black Rock, Lancaster Co., PA, now York Co., PA. This was in southern Manheim Twp. and very near the MD/PA border. Her parents are listed as members of the Black Rock Brethren Congregation in 1738. Her father was highly involved with the MD/PA border line dispute in the 1730's. Elizabeth married 1754, probably in Hanover, York Co., PA to Christian Bare. Known children: Anna "Annie" 1757-1799 m. Nicholas Bucher 1755-1835; Michael 1770-1846. Christian & Elizabeth Bare are both buried in York Road Cemetery aka Bairs Mennonite Meeting House Cemetery.
