Funeral services for Inez Danner Bailey, age 89 of the Plevna community, will be conducted Tuesday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery beside her husband Vernon Erskine Bailey who passed away June 8, 2013. Mrs. Bailey passed away Sunday morning in Donalson Care Center.
She was a native of Madison County, AL, and the daughter of the late Burt Cleveland and Easter Williams Danner. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker, former employee of Serbin Fashions and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed gardening and farming.
Survivors include two daughters Barbara Bledsoe and husband Louis of Elora, Sylvia Plunkett and husband Buster of Elora, grandchildren Craig Bledsoe of Fayetteville, Kevin Bailey of Elora, great-grandchildren Lane Bledsoe of Ardmore, AL, Trenton Bailey of Elora, two sisters Marguerite Davis of New Market, AL, and Pauline Knox of Stevenson, AL. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by a son Gary Bailey.
Visitation with the family will be Monday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral.
