She was a long time Florida resident who for the last five years had lived in Due West, S.C.
She was a retired school bus driver for the Brevard and Orange County school systems.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wesley Varner; a son, Steve Varner of the home: one sister Lorene King of Deltona, Fl.; and two brothers, Roy Parsons of Cincinnati Ohio and Junior Parsons of Wapakoneta, Ohio.
She is survived by a sister, Debbie Neumann of Port Charlotte, Fl., a daughter, Linda Herring of Due West, S.C. and a son Wesley L. Varner of Winter Park, Fl.; four grandchildren: Kelly Garrick of Irmo, S.C.; Josh Herring of Huntsville, Al.; Drew and Misty Truitt of Winter Park, Fl.; and eight great grandchildren.
