In Taunton, May 22, 2016 Kathleen (Conlon) Cyr wife of George Cyr died peacefully at her home with her family by her side at the age of 70. Born in Taunton, Kathleen was the daughter of the late James and Kathleen (Goss) Conlon. She was a graduate of Bishop Cassidy High School class of 1964 and Taunton Vocational School where she received her LPN license. Kathleen worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Taunton Public Schools for over fifteen years and before that she was employed at Boston City Hospital. Kathleen was the mother of Lori Cyr and her companion Tony Martin of New Bedford, Dawn Benjamin and her husband Geoff of Tolland, CT, David Cyr and his wife Jane of Wrentham and Eric Cyr of Taunton. Grandmother of Ruby and Sam Martin, Sean and Julia Benjamin, Elizabeth and Thomas Cyr. Sister of Joe Conlon of Taunton and the late James, Jack, Joanne Conlon and Janice Gilligan. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday, May 27th at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to the COPD Foundation 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL, 33134
