A Celebration of the life of Cameron "Joe" Croxton will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in Athens with Bro Dale Perry officiating. Services are under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.

Cameron "Joe" Croxton passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2016.

Cameron Shane Croxton was born on June 9, 1999 in Athens, TX son of David Rieger and Deanna Kay Croxton. He was a gentle giant who loved his nieces, nephews and especially his little brother. He loved spending time with his Pop and welding with Shane in his spare time. Joe played football, loved FFA, Ag, being a country boy, and big trucks.

He is survived by his father David Rieger of Athens; mother Deanna Croxton and Shane Lewis of Athens; brother, Conner Rieger of Athens; grandparents, Richard and Patricia Harrod of Brownsboro, Carl and Ginger Morris of Bossier City, LA; great grandparents, OV and Jeane Harrod of Brownsboro, and WT and Billie Dyer; aunts and uncles, Roseann McKinney of Brownsboro, Jeffrey Harrod and Natasha Hartley of Brownsboro, Kelly and Jill Harrod of Kemp, Johnny and Shara Harrod of Kaufman, Stevie and Tera Jernigan of Seven Points, Michael Morse of Bossier City, LA, Lori and Charlie Wilson of Ohio, Regina Cooper of Tyler; great aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Tricia Harrod of Brownsboro, Billy and Mitzi Harrod of Alto, Lane Croxton of Caddo Mills, David Croxton of Greenville, Judy Harrod of Rowlett; cousins, Kylie and Kaylin McKinney and numerous other cousins.

Visitation will be held before the service on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Living for the Brand Cowboy Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marcos Holyfield, Ty Fernandez, Rance Fernandez, Ty Lewis, B.J. Harrod, Lane Logan, Shamar Williams, Zack Carson.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Cameron "Joe" Croxton Scholarship fund at Citizens National Bank of Athens.
