STANGER, Donald Stanley (ret'd Captain Air Canada) Born November 4, 1932 in Montreal; passed away peacefully on November 7 after a short illness.

He leaves to mourn Armgard (nee Berkenkemper), his wife and best friend for over 50 years as well as his children Sylvia (Round) and husband Michael, Derek and his wife Lynne, his sister Ann Hruby and her family in Lexington, Massachusetts as well as loved family in Dusseldorf, Germany. He was a much loved Grandpa to Nicola, Hannah, Bryce and Cameron as well as a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, both here and abroad.

He will be greatly missed and his stories and wit will be fondly remembered by family, many friends and former colleagues.

Our special thanks go to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 15th floor at the Montreal General Hospital for their great care and compassion during his short stay. We are ever so grateful.

If so desired, donations in Don's memory to l'Abri en Ville ( Queen Elizabeth Health Complex, 2100 Marlowe Avenue, Suite 650, Montreal, H4A 3L1) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

A gathering for friends and family in Don's memory will be announced later.
