Mrs. R. A. Wilkerson, wife of R. A. Wilkerson, one of our well known citizens of the first generation, passed away on the morning of July Fourth. The cause of her death was undoubtedly just a general decline, due to her advanced age. Death came unexpectedly and before any of her children could be summoned. Conditions made it imperative that the funeral be held the day following her death. Two of her children by a previous marriage, C. M. Fergus and Mrs. L. A. Waddle, hurried here as soon as possible but unfortunately got here too late for the ceremony.
