Mrs Julia Maude Elder, daughter of the late John and Araminta Rist of Bullskin township, dide Jan 19 in Burlington, N.J. where she had been visiting her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M Elder. They were former residents of Connellsville and Mount Braddock.
She is survived by six children, Quint R of Monroeville, Mrs Guy (Olive) Whelpley of North Royalton, Ohio, Mrs Marvin (Evelyn Montgomery of Burlington, N.J., E Earl of Irwin, W Charles of Trafford, and Mrs Tom (Arminta) Stewart of Pitcairn with whom she made her home.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two gr-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Walter S Stimmel of Connellsville and Mrs E B Ritenour of Akron, Ohio
Interment was in Restland Lincoln Memorial Cemetery at Monroeville.
