Nicholas Wright Richards, 89, passed away Oct. 10, 2014 following a brief illness.
Married in Akron Ohio to Geraldine Ann Gollings in 19 Aug. 1950.
Nicholas Wright Richards was an Army Veteran; served his country in World War II. He received his bachelor's from The University of Akron and master's in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Employment included Ohio Brass, Cleveland Public Power and Mollard Conducting Batons. He was a member of the Church of Our Saviour and Brown Street Church of Christ. He volunteered for 15 years with AARP tax filing and OPEN M food bank. He enjoyed following Ohio sports teams.

Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Geraldine; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Richards; and brothers, Donald, Larry (Gloria) and Frederick died 1992 in Peterborough, N.H. (Jean); he is survived by his sister, sister-in-law Kay Rogers, sister in law, Beth and Euchre buddy Fran Keller. Nicholas will be deeply missed by his children; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arthur (Diana), Renae Osherrow (Roger Weinberg), David, Ken (Debbie) and Kieetie Norton; grandchildren, Kimberly (Matt) Gabler, Bradon (Ashley) Richards, Danielle Osherwo, Nicholas, Zachary and Jennifer Richards, Kelsey Richards and Kelley, Katie and Kyle Barton; and great grandchildren Kianna, Tatum, Talluhah and Annabelle Gabler and Ayliegh Richards.
