She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marguerite Kirkendall, her son Gary and grandson Jason Keefer. She is survived by her loving husband of 63years James of Madison, Alabama; 1 sister, Nancy Lantz of Centerville, Ohio; 1 son, Daniel (Mary Denise) of Yellow Springs, Ohio; 2 daughters, Cindy Bowes of Columbus, Ohio; and Vicky (Ray) Brown of Toney, Alabama as well 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be Sunday, March 4- First Christian Church, Athens, Alabama at 3pm and Saturday, March 10- Greenmont Oak Park Community Church, Kettering, Ohio at 1 pm. Family will receive friends 1 hour before the services.
