Henry Walker Conner, an 81 year-old Irvington Rt. resident, died at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 1979, at the Old Mason's Home in Shelbyville. Mr. Conner, a retired farmer, was born in Breckinridge County April 26, 1898, the son of the late George and Lydia Beatty Conner. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM at Bewleyville. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Skaggs Conner ; Four daughters, Mrs. Helen Louise Gonterman , Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Mrs. Mary Katherine Roller, Louisville; Mrs. Wilma Jane Anderson, Clarksville, Indiana; and Mrs. Gladys Mae Hardin, Jacksonville, Florida. Also surviving are three sons, Roger Lee Conner and Wayne Conner , both of Irvington and Eugene Conner, Jeffersonville, Indiana; a brother Ova Conner , Philomath, Oregon; 18 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two step grandchildren. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Irvington, with the Rev. Don Bruington officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
