Augustus born Germany. Arrival in USA: 1882 He was 58 yrs in 1920 Tx census. Father's Birthplace Oldenburg. Mother's Birthplace Bremen. Married S. Anna Davis c1886 dau of Jane M.(Wood)& Jasper Newton Davis, she was born Benton/Calhoun County, Alabama. He died at age 97 years 3 months 25 days.
He never remarried after death of wife Anna. He was the father of Will (married Dovie M Minor), Josephine, Maybell (married Willie John Timm) Della (Anna had a sister named Della) Alberta (married Arthur Jones) and Roberta (married Jim Marion Tems. Alberta and Roberta were twins.
