"OBITUARY"
MISHAWAKA - Dolores A. Landaw, 79, died in her residence at 8 a.m. on Friday January 4, 2008. She was born in Mishawaka on October 31, 1928, to Glen and Flora (Simpson) Cart, who preceded her in death.

Dolores was a stay-at-home mom who called herself "The East End Den Mother". She was mom not only to her own kids but also to the neighborhood kids. Her house was the house everyone wanted to hang out at. Dolores was a loving and giving person. She helped so many people over the years. She expecially helped her kids become the people they are today. Her kids were her pride and joy. For several years, Dolores and Dan would travel to the different countries their son, Gary, who is a missionary, happened to be in. She enjoyed those trip. Dolores never knew a stanger. She would talk to everyone. She was always teased by her family and friends about how much she could talk. She sure had the stories to tell about her growing up years and also her kids. Dolores was a great wife and mom. She will be missed by many friends and family. Dolores enjoyed bowling, Bingo, going to Las Vegas and summers at Rice Lake in Ontario Canada. She was a member of the Mishawaka High School Alumni Association and Cedar Road Missionary Church.
Friends may spend time with the family today, January 6, in Bubb Funeral Chapel from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m., Monday, with Rev. Jeff Truex officiating. Burial will following at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Pentecostal Church, Trinidad Bible School.
