╚══╝ L♥VE You My Precious Son!!!

∞ ♥My Beloved Son♥ ∞

♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫∞♫

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has visited and giving kind words, encouragement and left tokens of love for my son. He is dearly cherished and extremely missed by myself and our whole family. I know that he appreciates all the love given as do I. Thank you again!

Antonio was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 29, 1999, to Ricca Escamilla (nee: Marsh) and Hector Escamilla Rodriguez.

He is my precious baby boy. Growing up he was very rambunctious and often kept me on my toes. He was very inquisitive and always knew what he wanted in life. "Tonio" as we affectionately called him, had the most beautiful green eyes and smile that would light up any room he was in.

I remember his first day of pre-school. He was much shorter than the rest of his classmates, but his curiosity and excitement was bigger than the whole classroom. He walked into that class with eyes wide open and in awe, gazing around the classroom with such a wonderment and amazement, which is how he always viewed the world.

As Antonio grew older, I was awed by the young man he would become--strong, steadfast and assured. His ambition and drive for success was inspiring and was such an enduring quality. His deep passion for music and God inspired all who knew him. In Antonio's words, his loves were "Music & God, oh & coffee".

To know Antonio is to know a kind-hearted and caring young man who was only interested in 1940's movies and the grunge era of music. A simple humble Christian who wasn't interested in his current era of life. He was especially fond of black and white films featuring Henry Fonda and was recently working on a book about King Charles I. He was a huge fan of Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Soundgarden, and Audioslave.

Antonio was a natural born entertainer. I especially remember when he was 4 and rapped Lil Bow Wow's "Take Ya Home". When he was 9 years old and while we were living in Mexico for 3 months, he got up in front of the entire town and showed them all how we "break dance" here in the United States to DJ Flex's "Te Quiero". He was a crowd pleaser and loved every moment of it. He was born for the stage

Antonio had a passion for music and was artistically and musically gifted. He expressed his creative talents through music, art, writing and poetry. He was an awesome rapper and singer. When he was younger, he went by the stage name of "Emillz", but then fittingly became known as "Tonez". He had recorded and released many great songs over the years. Without any formal training or much practice, Antonio had brilliantly drew an impressive self-portrait just while sitting at the kitchen table one afternoon.

Antonio enjoyed basketball and was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant fan. He had gotten 24/9 tattooed on his hand to honor Kobe and Gianna Bryant when they passed. Although they hadn't won a super bowl in decades, he also enjoyed watching his hometown Detroit Lions play.

Antonio loved fishing and was especially excited about the 6lb bass that he caught on Pontiac Lake in 2020, although it broke his pole. I remember him running to me excited to show me what he had caught, with his pole snapped in half and the fish dragging on the ground behind him. I was a proud mama that I got to be there to teach him how to scale, cut, clean and grill it right there on the spot.

He was incredibly loving and caring. He was always acting silly and goofy and had loved making people laugh.

Antonio would sit and talk with me for hours regarding his hopes and dreams, music, basketball, philosophy and politics or anything else that would come to his mind (I would give anything to have those days back).

Antonio is dearly loved, missed and cherished by our entire family. A piece of us went with him the day he left. There will never be a sunrise or sunset greater than the joy, love and blessings he brought into our lives. Antonio's legacy will live on in the hearts and souls of all who loved him and the lives he touched. He will forever be missed and cherished.

ANTONIO'S FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE: John 15: 9-17

9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

Antonio leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Ricca Escamilla and Hector Escamilla-Rodriguez, brother Ricardo Escamilla and sister Vanessa Escamilla-Saucedo. Grandmothers Sylvia Jordan and Lidia Rodriguez-Escobedo, Aunts Stacy Brewer, Shana Bradford, Krista (Nick) Scott, Sandra Escamilla-Rodriguez and Rocio (Ramon) Escamilla-Rodriguez, Uncles, Ricky Marsh, David (DJ) Marsh, Claudio Escamilla-Rodriguez and Lauro (Liliana) Escamilla-Rodriguez. Nephew, Emiliano Escamilla and Niece Victoria Escamilla. Cousins, Jerrick Harris, Kayla Collins, Jack Boston, Jonathan Quick, Erica Annis, Christopher Bradford, Yesenia Padilla, Nicole Bradford, Riahna Ostos and Janiesa Brewer. Friend, Mentor and Youth Pastor Brian Gerig and special friends, Frankie Santana, Adriana and Sirena Beltran, Angelo and Julianna Bermudez, Analilia, Juan and Jose Violante, Austin and Caleb Pease and Jack Stewart and a host of other friends and family from the United States to Mexico

Antonio was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ricky Marsh and Celestino Escamilla Saucedo, great-grandparents James "Melvin" and Willetta Jordan (nee: Reed) and Francisco Rodriguez Chavez and Julia Escobedo Sandoval, Uncle Bobby Marsh and great-uncle Alan Jordan.
