In 1863 Ezekiel Isbell was a delegate from Harmony Church applying to the Shelby Association to become a member of that association. In 1867 Ezekiel was a delegate from Harmony Church asking to withdraw from the Shelby Association to help form Cahaba Valley Association. According to Ray M. Atchison's BAPTISTS OF SHELBY COUNTY, Birmingham 1964, page 82, the church withdrew in 1867 to help form the Cahaba Valley Association.
Margie (Swiney) Isbell took Annie Isbell Walker (1909-2007) to the Lost Cemetery in 1995 and she identified the large mounds of rock as one set of triplets and two sets of twins of Hugh Marion and Rebecca (Hollis) Isbell. Annie said they used to have Homecoming there and after cleaning the cemetery they would break mountain laurel and put it on the graves. There were about 85 graves counted by Margie and Chester Isbell and Geloria Meads Kirkland, but very few tombstones.
